Clinical Consultation MATEC Michigan provides health care professionals with timely and appropriate responses to clinical questions about the treatment and management of HIV infection. Individual clinical consultation with HIV experts is available in the following areas:
MATEC Michigan provides in-depth HIV clinical training to health care professionals. Courses include didactic and clinical components. Faculty for these intensive programs are recognized experts in HIV care.
The HIV Clinical Course for Physicians updates practicing physicians in Michigan about

Clinical Course for Physicians is provided free of charge to Michigan
physicians. CME credit is available to participants. The target audience for the
course is all physicians licensed to practice in Michigan.

HIV Clinical Course
for Nurses and Nurse Practitioners
is designed to assist practicing nurses in
acquiring and applying current knowledge and developing skills in caring for
persons living with HIV disease.

The HIV Clinical Course for Dental Professionals provides the latest knowledge on a wide variety of epidemiological, clinical, and therapeutic issues related to HIV and its co-occurring conditions in dental practice.
The HIV
Clinical Course for Dental Professionals is provided free of charge to Michigan
dental professionals. Continuing education credit is available to participants.
The target audience for the course is all dentists, dental hygienists and dental
assistants licensed to practice in Michigan.
Longitudinal Training Programs Committed to providing quality education to increase HIV awareness among health care professionals, MATEC Michigan offers comprehensive in-service programs to non-profit organizations at no cost. Most in-service programs are one hour in length and carry 1 CEU. All of our speakers are health professionals who actively work in the field.
